Monthly Homes Sales History for the Huntsville Alabama Madison County real estate area shows an inventory of 3447 homes or a 15.19 months of supply of homes for the month ending November.  The chart below shows the monthly sales history for the months of January thru November 2008.  There was a 40.5% drop in sales between October and November.  With the rising number of homes increasing in inventory and tightening lending it is becoming evident that we are in a buyers' market for the local Huntsville Alabama Madison County real estate area.  The average days on the market (DOM) was 82 days.
